Progress Files
On completion of Year 12 all students receive a Progress File. This records all aspects of a student's progress, achievements and participation in school and outside. In addition to providing information on an individual's academic and artistic/sporting qualifications. The record reflects positive qualities including communication skills and practical, physical and social ability.
Students are involved in compiling these reports and are encouraged to reach their full potential. Parents will be in a position to evaluate the strengths of their son and will therefore be better placed to offer parental advice when their son asks the inevitable question, "Where shall I go from here?"
Towards the end of Year 12 each student is given a bound copy of their Progress File which they may wish to show to potential employers etc. This gives a picture of the school leaver which is more complete than a set of examination results. In assessing suitability for employment, employers are eager to evaluate social interaction as well as academic qualifications. The Progress File enables them to do this. The File is so designed that it may be added to in Sixth Form, at University and indeed throughout working life.
