Mentoring Programme

The aim of the Key Stage 4 Mentoring Programme is to improve the G.C.S.E. results for students at this school.

Every student in Year 11 and Year 12 is allocated a member of staff who then acts as that student's personal mentor throughout his time in senior school.

Mentors provide guidance and support for the student in his work, they provide help with study, they provide pratical help for improviding and through discussions with students and parents set short term S.M.A.R.T. targets which are reviewed every two months.

Mentoring has played a major part in the success story of the school since its introduction ten years ago.
