Mrs V Treanor, Mr O'Hagan and Mr Dermot Kelly (Diocesan Youth Director - Armagh Diocesan Youth Council) introduce the Muiredach Cross Award to year 10 and year 12 pupils.
The Muiredach Cross Award is the new faith development award of theArchdiocese of Armagh. Its primary aim is to create opportunities
or our young people to put their faith into action and to celebrate the excellent work currently being done throughout our schools and parishes. In so doing we hope to enable our young people to become a positive influence on the ethos of their school, their parish and community. Central to this is the development of the leadership skills of our young people.
It also fosters a spirit of prayer in the students by offering an opportunity for prayer during each lesson, and encouraging celebrations of the liturgical year at class and school level.
