I am delighted to have this opportunity to welcome you to the new St. Brigid’s website.
Some former pupils are our current parents while many others have travelled and settled in all parts of the world. Keeping in touch is always a great source of pleasure and this is one of the reasons why I am so delighted with our new website. This technology removes the barriers of time and place and now everyone has access to the school literally at the touch of a button.
Our new website supports the work of our teachers as we strive to offer an attractive and dependable education to every pupil no matter what their achievement up to now. We value all pupils as we endeavour to bring our motto into reality – “feabhais a chur ar” – which means “ try your best” and we have been very successful in recent years enabling our pupils to perform superbly in public examinations, be victorious in various sports including gaelic and soccer, enjoy trips to Italy, Scotland, England and throughout N. Ireland. The website is the story of the school and is invaluable for marketing and communications purposes.
